The President and Manager Director, Fabrizio Capua, took into the company a team of reliable managers whose aim was renovating and strengthening the company, counting once again on the undiscussed quality of the product and on a consolidated experience derived from more than 60 years of activity.
The company’s management was entrusted to Michele Rizzo, trustworthy man of Capua’s family, with whom he began to work in 1984, in the period of Socib and Coca Cola. Fully in line with Fabrizio Capua, he launched a reorganization plan based on cutbacks, rigour and investments for the development.
The new General Director, in his turn, more than counting on a team of young collaborators completely taken with the team work, in agreement with the Managing Director, availed himself of other important managers having long and important, successful professional cooperation behind them.
The specialized job, innovative and traditional at the same time, is the main element of the commitment that the company devotes every day to its products. The continuous search for quality in every stage of the production, the will of development and the attention to innovation led Caffé Mauro to be renowned all over the world. The new management team, once again, relies on the undisputed quality of the product and on an experience strengthened during more than 60 years of activity, in order to renew and develop further the company, in the foreign markets too. Moreover, Caffé Mauro promotes initiatives aimed at boosting the cultural and professional growth of the youth in Calabria, awarding, for example, the “Demetrio Mauro” scholarships, dedicated to the memory of its founder, consistently with the entrepreneurial philosophy that has always driven the company: setting itself up as stimulating reality and as a model in its social context.
In order to maintain the high standards of its products, Caffé Mauro subjects coffee to a long series of checks, both at the arrival of the raw material, and during and at the end of the process. In particular, thanks to university collaborations, the company refined a series of specific analytic procedures which allow to make more than 100 checks for every production line batch. Caffé Mauro is a company which carries out an activity aimed at the technical and physical transformation of green coffee into roasted coffee, from raw material to end product. After a careful selection at the origin of the best coffee varieties, the distinctive slow roasting and a skilled blending, the production processes of the factory, one of the most modern in Europe, ensure the constant high quality of the product and the deep respect for the environment.
